But on August 16, 1977, he found himself in the ambulance with Elvis on that fateful last trip to the ER. He signed the death certificate. From that day forward, Dr. Nick became the focus of a media witch hunt that threatened his life and all but destroyed his professional reputation. Now, for the first time, Dr. Nick reveals the true story behind Elvis’s drug use and final days-not the version formed by years of tabl (more…)

Dr. Bill Beeny gives us a detailed look into how he obtained an Elvis liver sample taken from 1975, and had it tested against a sample from the body in the casket in 1977. The specimens did not match, they were from two different bodies. This great book presents a lot of questions and Mr. Beeny gives a lot of reasons on how and why Elvis could have faked his death. This book is a must for any Elvis fan. Could the world’s greatest entertainer still be alive? I hope so. This book gives a lot of evidence showing that he could be. Review by Ernie R. He was “the original Slim Shady,” Keogh writes; “his appearance on Ed Sullivan ripped the 1950s in half.” “Before Elvis, there was nothing,” John Lennon said.
      Amazon.com Review

Alanna Nash’s biography of Colonel Tom Parker uncovers a life story even more complicated, dark, and entertaining than that of the promoter’s greatest talent, Elvis Presley. Nash had unique access to the Colonel and many of those closely connected to him in assembling the facts that underlie her narrative, and the book reads like a mystery as it probes the origins of Parker’s power.
